USA Field Hockey

USA Field Hockey is the national governing body (NGB) for the sport of field hockey in the U.S., as appointed by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). USA Field Hockey is a member-based, 501(c)(3) organization striving to be an effective sport leader, generating and allocating resources to achieve its mission:

Grow the Game by promoting and developing field hockey as a sport for all, sport for life

Serve and Inspire Membership by helping people achieve their field hockey ambition, and by creating value for membership

Succeed Internationally by performing well in elite competitions and enhanced high-performance programming.

State Chapters are volunteer-led extensions of USA Field Hockey, focusing on promoting and growing the game at the grassroots level. The State Chapter system of regional representation was piloted in 2019-2022. Since 2022, the State Chapter system has been expanding. The vision is 50 State Chapters working together for a thriving sport ecosystem.

USA Field Hockey is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, along with the USOPC. USA Field Hockey’s women’s and men’s national teams live and train in Charlotte, NC at the United States Performance Center.

USA Field Hockey is a member of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF).
